Check to see if your veterinarian, or your city, offers a Pet CPR class. It’s very worthwhile and may save the life of your pet in case of an emergency.I attended one at a local animal hospital where I live and gained a wealth of knowledge.  They even covered information about cats. I received printouts and was also able to purchase a pet emergency kit for my dog.  Some of the important items covered were poisonous plants, bites, harmful foods, bleeding and heat stroke to name a few. Timing is crucial if your pet is in distress.

Always remember, in case of an emergency always call your vet or go to a pet emergency clinic as soon as possible.
